Well, last night’s phone call with my friend was very enlightening indeed. As it turns out she asked Amy at  quiet moment how long her and Mr Ex had been seeing each other. Now I was told the same thing I told you – I copied the text word for word that said it had been going on for a few weeks….

After receiving the text message this morning, I lay in bed for an hour awake, just not quite knowing what to do with myself. My phone started ringing and it was Maisie. I answered and she just wanted to check up what time I wanted to see the movie with her tomorrow. I told her she could pick and let me know. She asked if I was OK, and I told her about Mr Ex and his new girlfriend. She was quiet for a little while and then said that she couldn’t believe it. I told her it was no big deal and that if anything it just means that I can move on now and know that there’s no going back. She asked if anything else was bothering me, I said not at all. She asked if she could call me at about one on on her lunch break. I said OK….
