Here’s a brief introduction to the people in my life.. in case their names come up and you’re wondering who they are!

• Minnie – Yep, that’s me. I’m 26 soon. I love running, like all the time. I’m obsessively neat and tidy. I have just finished my year and half diet and have lost over 5 stones altogether, hence my name of Newly Skinny Minnie. My body is a temple, I’m vegetarian, hardly ever drink and I am very careful about what gets put into my body. I have recently found a love of allsorts of undies and obsessively buy them.  Currently mending a broken heart, I have two children. 
• Mr Ex - My ex-Husband. Not divorced, just separated. Married for five years, have two children.
• Spongebob and Squarepants – our children. They live with me. Spongebob is three and Squarepants is a year and a half.
• Mr E – Aptly named as this guy is a total enigma, or likes to think he is (Mr E – Mystery) My first kiss waaaaaay back when I was 12/13ish. Recently reacquainted via the internet, we attended the same school with Alice (among others of course)  Mr E has been a welcome distraction from stresses and strains that come from being dumped, and he has been an excellent help with getting some confidence back after losing all my weight. I did wonder if I liked him in some more than friends way but now I see him as a friend.
• The Tosser – My long time ago ex-boyfriend. We broke up over five years ago. Absolute asshole, also referred to as jerk off. He pops up in my life every now and again. Makes my skin crawl. Recently discovered to have been sleeping with Kathy for a few weeks. Was supposed to be kept secret from me.
• The Madhouse – This term refers to my parents house and all who inhabit it. That’s my parents, my five brothers and sisters, a dog, some cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other waifs and strays.
• Boo – My sister. Younger than me and my brothers but the oldest of my sisters. Her boyfriend is SB.
• Maisie - A good friend of mine from sixth form. Lives just down the road which is a big coincedence since I live two hours away from where I went to school. Maisie’s life is even more complicated than mine. Again, that’s another story that we’ll get to!
• Alice – friend of mine from school. We went to school together from when I was 12 until 15. We have recently (about two years ago) become reacquainted via the internet.
• Kathy – Hmm… went to the same school as Maisie and I. Kathy and I had part time jobs at a crappy supermarket together. Kathy is not a bad girl deep down, but something slightly untrustworthy about her. I was proven correct when I found out recently she has been sleeping with The Tosser and lied to me about it.
• Gemini – So named by me as he is one of identical twins (he’s the better looking one!! ) We had a will they-won’t they going on back when we were 17ish. He is now with his longtime girlfriend even though he moans constantly about her.
